Cold Night

It is a cold and windy night.  Mum is reading in her bed and I am relaxing in mine.  Night night.

    Lovely day over here Poppy!x
    Bit overcast..but dry..Rained a little bit
    this morning, not a lot of good, really!
    Still..all up together, finished all my
    hanging baskets etc..they'll look nice a
    little later when they grow and bloom...! :).
    I'm no gardener, but l do my best...! :).

    How warm and cosy you look Poppy. With mum reading in bed you sound just the perfect little family. It is very, very cold down here. We watched the final of the cooking show and lights were out at 10.30pm. The earliest for a very long time. I had also watched a doc. On Diane Vreeland. She ended up as editor for Vogue. An admirable woman who survived a childhood of being told by her mother she was ugly.
    I envy Willie doing his hanging baskets. They will look gorgeous in no time while we cower under freezing temps. and masses of wind. I think we could compete with Windy Wellington any day at the moment.
    Who made that beautiful crochet blanket Poppy? Xxx

    Poppy, you've no idea how happy I am that your mum gave you a heated cat-bed. I know you won't be offended when I write that when a cat reaches a certain age, she needs a little extra warmth. Enjoy!
