Today was mums day off so she deemed it a Treat Yourself Tuesday. She slept in, read her book and talked to me. She washed dishes, washed clothes and washed herself. She put on new boots, new pants, an old jumper and jacket.
She walked into town, went on a bus and walked to the library. She got her books, she got some cash out and got some groceries. She came home, she rushed out my feast and she cooked her dinner.
She ate chicken pasta, she ate maltesers and she ate grapes. She brushed my furs, she brushed her hair and she brushed her teeth.
A good day full of relaxing and treats.

ReplyDeleteMum was busy, but had a fun day, when l wash myself,
shower etc..l take my cloths and dishes in with me!
HeHe! Saves a lot of time and trouble..kill three
birds with one stone! :). Why waste water..! :0).
I've just had my lunch, had left over chix carcass,
out on the patio, not a lot left, just a small pile
of bones! And, a couple of peaches for afterwards!
HaHa! Had to laugh..hope you have more than one brush to
do all those jobs Poppy!x You always look lovely anyway! :).
What a great day mum and you had Poppy. Wish I was there to share in the fun.
ReplyDeleteNew boots eh? AND pants. Mum must have been the talk of the library. She teases us by calling herself middle aged but she is certainly young in heart. It was raining Qs and dogs here so I have been tucked up watching tv. I enjoyed Windsor Castle and then Escape to the ChateauDIY. Was watching Greys anatomy but fell asleep. I wonder if it was good or if I got bored. Tomorrow we are in for hail and snow. Days like that I wish I was back on my own old turf -Wellington.
You look so kissable in the photo but when I enlarged it you looked like hedgehog. But a very cute one I promise. I will now go to sleep with the sound of rain on the roof. 💧💧💧💧💧Love to you both xxx
Glad your mum had a nice day off to do what she wanted.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice day!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun day. Maltesers and grapes, eh? I've not heard of that combination - though they may not have been at the same time, right?
