She had a day of laziness today. Reading her book, shuffling some stuff around and hoovering the carpet. She put her nice clothes on and went out to meet a bestie on the correct night.
Mums friend apologized for yesterday's muddle. The girls went to see Mama Mia - Here We Go Again. Oh what a load of cheesy cheesy silliness. Still it was a bit of fun and it did make mum want to take a holiday on a Greek Island.
I stayed home - but I was glad to have mum back home at a sensible 9.30pm.

I've just got back from town...still very hot,

we did have a nice downpour during the night!
So the temp. has dropped! May go and give the
privet a cut later..we'll see..! :).
The sky...!!! Wow!

ReplyDeleteWhat stunning photos. Sounds like you had a very enjoyable evening. We have 3 loads hanging out today too. My hub. Is good at that. So satisfying. We desperately need rain though. We are in a pocket of drought and the hose has to stay on to keep our lovely garden alive.
