How are you doing friends? The temperature has dropped today, mum has the heaters on as she was cold. Lots of changes here. The streets were emptier on mums way to work and on the way home. I think the schools are having some years stay home, and we won't be surprised if they close entirely soon like many other countries.
So far not much of mums routines have changed, as during the week she usually only goes too and from work, with stops at the supermarket and library. She saw most of her friends at the weekend which was nice.
How are you all doing?

Well...over here..Boris has only suggested that
ReplyDeletethe over 70's and pregnant ladies, take care and
self isolate..it has'nt been made compulsory, like
other European counties as yet..but it could be at
any time..l for one will then be isolated for at
least 3 months..Jeeeese! I shall go mad..!!! :(
Well..madder than l am now..! HeHe! :).
Poppy, dear, these are trying times for many family cats in my area. Not only are naps being disrupted by children home from schools but also the hours allocated to warming laptop keyboards are being multiplied as adults work from home. A local lady posted a popular "Here's how I'm doing..." image which shows her cat draped across her keyboard with a toddler reaching for its tail.
ReplyDeleteEverything enjoyable is closed (plus schools).
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the fun of warmth and getting mum out with besties
while she can. We have ugly dark wetness to go with the
virus! You look comfy Poppy.
Things are quiet on campus, and many of us (me included) are trying to get set up to work remotely. Derry will love it if I'm home all day, but I'm not sure about my ability to focus on work outside of the office! :-P
ReplyDeleteStay healthy and safe!
poppy, knot much left heer TWO close; itz that way all reddy...de timez be crazee ~~~~~☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteMy human has been trying to figure out how to keep me occupied, since I don't like all the down time (my cat shows and therapy cat visits were all cancelled). She is going a little stir crazy too.
ReplyDeleteWe are worried about your mum working in healthcare. I know she will take as much care as possible but me and mum will are sending good thoughts and purrs.
ReplyDeleteThe streets were pretty empty here, too, as I went to work this morning. Our libraries are closed, as are cinemas and many restaurants. Let’s hope this terrible episode is over soon. All in all, though, we are doing all right here.
