Lockdown Down

Our lockdown  is easing up as if 11.59pm tonight.   As if midnight more businesses  can open, and we can order food to be delivered.  It has only  been essential  workers like mum who can go to work for the past month.  We still have to stay close to home and no social life yet.  We have 2 weeks like that and then the government  will reassess more returns  to normal if our virus numbers stay low.

Best of all - mum has a day off tomorrow.   She is going to sleep in and put her feet up.  She is wondering  if the builders and painters will be back.  She might have to put her headphones  in if they are.

  1. There talking about easing things over here...
Boris is back to~day..l think..have'nt looked
at the TV yet..Perhaps letting people in the
parks, though still at a safe distant!
Some shops will be open, and..and..there might
be some football in 2~3 weeks..behind closed
    doors...HeHe Hooray..! :).

  2. Hurrah! Fingers and paws crossed all goes well and more restrictions can be lifted.

Our province's premier will be talking about a plan to slowly reopen; I think he's speaking today about that. We're still in the thick of it, though fortunately not in our area (knock on wood).

  3. R U IN DAT GRate place where yoo haz a womin in charge? can she come ofur here and run mi countree?

  4. It sounds like things are going pretty smoothly in NZ, Poppy, and I’m glad for you and your human. I know she must miss getting out other than work. Lots of purrs to you.

  5. We are happy they are easing things up for you. We still have a week or so before they ease up on some things here. We hope you and your mum enjoy the day off together and get much needed sleep. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your week.

  6. It sounds like your country has things well in hand, and the citizens are co-operating. Well done, and keep up the good work, Poppy.

  7. The rest of the world will be watching your country to see how it goes. Lots of purrs that it goes well.

  8. That's wonderful, Poppy. We hope you and Mum get some good snoozing in tomorrow, and that things keep going in a good direction there. XO
